- The first term that every web developer should know is web hosting and domain name. People get confused about the relationship of the two words. - The splash page is the first page that loads and may contain a logo or a flash animation. However, web developers have stirred away from this page because the attention span of Internet users has shortened.
- To successfully promote a web site online marketing was incorporated in every the contents of website. This may range from banner advertisement, email advertising, newsletters, online press release, and even web links.
- SEO or search engine optimization helps promote better page rankings and promotion as well. Web developers do not usually perform such methods but others have adapted this in to their tasks nowadays.
