PAYING A ULTRA PLAN – problems from day 1 mysql/fpt/http/emails etc, fake support centre, there are guys that dont know what to do like Adam.Y. the only thing is able to say is our billing/support dept will contact you soon. Soon for them is at least 72 hours. Great features but not usable. Dont even think about making business with them.
PacificHost’s tech support has always responded to my issues extremely well, both at nigh and daytime.
I had a really long DNS propoagation delay on my new site and somebody was there to answer my questions very late at night.
I haven’t been using Pacifichost long but I really appreciate their fast customer service.

Many problems with the thunderbird server and the MySQL…
The MySQL keeps going down every 12-24 hours, sometimes more that 2 times a day…
A big problem that no one in pacifichost staff can solve…
Ok so I’ve only been been with them for 5 hours, 3 of which the login was down, 4 of which my site was completely down.
I tried to call, but sat on hold for 15 minutes (only to get a beep and than nothing)
I used their live chat (slow responses) only to chat with someone who knows nothing “Adam”
My my what a mess and such a great first impression. Needless to say it is all that was needed for my to pack my bags and leave.
Good luck with the PacificHost,for your sake I hope you pull it together.
PS My guess, they are probably a re seller for another host, and the one or two guys dont know what to do.
You get what you pay for and I’ve been with Pacific Host for just about a year now and I have received nothing but great service.
Like most website owners I have tried many hosting companys and I have always ran into problems from overloaded servers, slow support service and many random issues.
Pacific Host’s reliability is great and I have had hardly any downtime, I monitor it as well. Even when it has gone down a few times I checked the twitter feed and they posted an update about the issue which was great, I didn’t even bother contacting them.
Additionally as a developer I require large mysql databases and the performance of Pacific Host servers is better than anything I have had before and I am very content with the speed.
If you are looking to setup a website, especially one using Drupal, WordPress or the like I highly reccommend Pacific Host.
Their customer support is far superior than others (what I been advised by others, who use other providers). They have gone above and beyond to assist me with my sites, whenever needed.
Excellent pricing and plans! Speed connectivity is fast, network uptime is good.
There are so many useful features included into their hosting plans. Good for them.
I have been very satisfied with their services and I would highly recommend their services. I suggest that anyone new to site building and looking for a new provider or even looking to move from their existing host, place PacificHost on the top of their list.
I have been Pacifichosting for almost one year now and I recommend them to everybody. The server is fast, uptime is great, support fast and very responsive. No standard answers or incomplete replies but they really help you. Maybe there are cheaper providers but you get a lot of resources and great service for your money and PacificHost is definitely worth it.
